$749.99 will become the new Lifetime Plex Pass price on July 1, 2026, up from $249.99, giving buyers about six weeks to lock in the current rate.
Plex said it weighed scrapping the lifetime option entirely because recurring subscriptions better support long-term development, but chose instead to keep it at a much higher price.
Current Lifetime Plex Pass holders will see no changes, and Plex left its standard Plex Pass pricing untouched at $6.99 monthly or $69.99 annually.
