Chicago said Tuesday that Rickea Jackson tore her left ACL in Sunday's 86-79 win over Minnesota and will miss the rest of the WNBA season.
An MRI confirmed the injury after Jackson got hurt in that game; the Sky said she will undergo surgery, with the date still to be determined.
Jackson had opened the season at a career-best level, leading Chicago with 22.0 points per game after arriving in an April trade from Los Angeles.
The loss deepens an early injury crunch for the 3-1 Sky, who have yet to get Azura Stevens, DiJonai Carrington or Courtney Vandersloot on the court this season.
