Four refreshed Surface devices—the 13-inch Surface Pro and three Surface Laptops—are available to order now through Microsoft’s commercial store, with Snapdragon X2 versions due later this year.
Prices start at $1,499 for the 13-inch Surface Laptop and $1,949 for flagship Surface Pro and Laptop configurations with Core Ultra 5 and 16GB RAM, which Microsoft linked to ongoing component shortages.
The biggest hardware changes land on the 13.8-inch and 15-inch flagship Laptops, adding optional hardware privacy filters, Windows 11 haptic-enabled trackpads, and a sharper 15-inch display at 262 PPI versus 201 previously.
The 13-inch Surface Laptop now gets Intel chips and an anti-reflective display, while a later 8GB version will cut the entry price to $1,299 but lose Copilot+ PC compatibility.
The rollout fits Microsoft’s two-wave Surface plan for 2026, with consumer models and rumored OLED Laptop variants expected over the summer.
