AtlasIntel’s first major poll after the leak showed Flávio Bolsonaro trailing Lula by 7 points, a sharp reversal from a dead heat a month earlier.
The slide followed leaked audio in which Flávio asked Daniel Vorcaro for up to R$134 million to finance a film about Jair Bolsonaro; the senator acknowledged the recording but denied wrongdoing.
The same survey found 43% of respondents now see Bolsonaro allies as more closely tied to the Banco Master scandal, reversing earlier perceptions that Lula’s camp was more implicated.
Bolsonaro’s campaign asked Brazil’s electoral court to block the poll, while allies warned the pressure could force him out before the formal campaign even begins.
The scandal stems from Banco Master’s November 2025 collapse, which cost Brazil’s deposit-guarantee fund R$51.8 billion and has widened into a probe touching politicians, regulators and Supreme Court figures.
