$230 million in Series B funding valued Armada at $2 billion, giving the modular data-center maker fresh capital to expand AI infrastructure for defense, energy and other rugged environments.
A new 400,000-square-foot Arizona plant, Galleon Forge One, will build Armada's Leviathan megawatt-scale units starting this summer and is expected to create more than 500 jobs.
Johnson Controls invested in the round and will use its manufacturing base and 40,000 field personnel to help Armada produce and deploy secure modular data centers quickly at scale.
