Envestnet said it is preparing to launch an AI-driven client-preparation platform on Tamarac’s Report Studio, aiming to shrink advisor meeting prep from 30-60 minutes to about five.
The beta-tested tool builds client-ready reports and narratives from a single workflow, targeting what executives called a broken process of bouncing between reports and manually stitching together presentations.
A separate AI Insights prompt will let advisors query live practice and client data in natural language and complete service tasks; one demo showed a $50,000 withdrawal request handled in under three minutes.
CEO Chris Todd said the products are part of a $1 billion five-year investment plan that could grow, with AI also helping integrate Envestnet’s platforms and reduce "swivel-chair" workflow friction.
The push comes as Envestnet, now private and competing with Orion, Advyzon and in-house RIA tech stacks, says platform assets have reached a record $7.8 trillion.
