Poland’s leading convenience-store chain said its incoming CEO will make European expansion the top priority for Zabka’s next phase of growth.
Tomasz Blicharski said the company can export the model that made Zabka Poland’s most popular corner shop into Europe’s fragmented convenience market.
That market structure gives Zabka an opening because major rivals, including 7-Eleven owner Seven & i Holdings, do not operate across all European countries.
