Disneyland guests on the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run ride were surprised when Pedro Pascal appeared in full Mandalorian costume, then removed his helmet to reveal himself.
Disney posted video of the stunt on social media, where Pascal joked, “Now you all have to die because you’ve seen my face,” before posing for photos with about a dozen fans.
Pascal later joined Sigourney Weaver, director Jon Favreau and Lucasfilm President Dave Filoni at Galaxy’s Edge, Disney’s 14-acre Star Wars-themed land.
The appearance was part of the press tour for “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” which opens May 22 as the first Star Wars film to reach theaters since 2019.
Can the Mandalorian's big-screen debut captivate all audiences, or is it a film only for dedicated fans of the series?
With the franchise's future at stake, will the new Mandalorian movie be a box office triumph or a major disappointment?
