Russia Suffers 1,220 More Casualties as Ukraine Puts Tank Losses at 11,939

Ukraine’s General Staff said Russian forces lost 1,220 troops over the past day, taking Moscow’s cumulative personnel losses since February 2022 to 1,350,010.
The same update put Russia’s equipment losses at 11,939 tanks, 24,583 armored combat vehicles and 42,262 artillery systems, with daily increases of 1, 5 and 47 respectively.
Additional losses listed were 2 more multiple-launch rocket systems, 2 air defense systems, 1 helicopter, 5 ground robotic systems, 1,603 tactical drones, 220 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4 special equipment units.
The figures came as fighting remained intense along the front, where Ukrinform said 195 combat engagements had been recorded by 22:00 on May 18.
Ukraine said the battlefield totals are still being clarified, underscoring that the war of attrition continues on multiple fronts.
