Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said he is concentrating his political operation on races across his state, especially four competitive U.S. House contests that could help decide chamber control.
Shapiro said he is using his clout to raise money, rally activists and build an organization aimed at winning both his own re-election and Democratic races up and down the ballot.
That strategy sets him apart from other potential 2028 Democratic contenders, some of whom have recently traveled to early presidential primary states such as South Carolina and New Hampshire.
