Stainless will wind down its hosted SDK generator and related products after Anthropic’s acquisition, while existing customers can keep modifying SDKs they already generated.
Founded in 2022, Stainless turns API specifications into SDKs, command-line tools and MCP servers across languages, giving Anthropic tighter control over the developer layer behind Claude.
