A federal judge on April 8 sentenced Jasveen Sangha, known as the "Ketamine Queen," to 15 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to selling the ketamine that killed Matthew Perry.
Prosecutors said Perry, 54, sought extra ketamine after his doctors refused more doses for depression treatment and bought the fatal supply from Sangha in a $6,000 cash deal days before his death.
Perry was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home in October 2023; the medical examiner ruled ketamine the primary cause of death, with drowning a secondary cause.
The case exposed a wider illicit supply chain that included two doctors and Perry's assistant, who admitted injecting him multiple times, including on the day he died.
At sentencing, Perry's family and another victim's relative said Sangha's drug dealing caused broad harm, while Sangha told the court her actions were "horrible decisions" that shattered lives.
