iOS 27 will let users generate custom wallpapers through Image Playground and build Shortcuts by describing tasks to Siri in natural language, according to Bloomberg.
The Shortcuts redesign is aimed at casual iPhone users: a test version asks, "What do you want your shortcut to do?" then creates and installs the workflow automatically.
Image Playground is also being upgraded in iOS 27, with Apple testing more lifelike image models that could make the wallpaper tool more advanced than the current app.
Apple is expected to preview both features at its WWDC keynote on June 8 as it expands AI features across iOS 27.
