Dell introduced PowerEdge XE9812 servers built on NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72, saying they cut agentic AI inference cost per token by up to 10x versus Blackwell.
The launch also adds HGX Rubin NVL8 systems with up to 144 GPUs per rack and up to 5.5x HGX B200 performance, plus Vera CPU servers that run agent sandboxes 50% faster and Starburst queries 3x faster.
Dell framed the push around enterprise demand for secure on-premises AI: its survey found 67% of AI workloads now run outside the cloud and 88% of respondents run at least one on-premises workload.
To support that shift, Dell expanded its AI Factory with confidential computing, previewed Google Distributed Cloud with Gemini 3.0 on PowerEdge XE9780, and extended model and software ties including OpenAI Codex, Palantir and ServiceNow.
Michael Dell said 5,000 enterprises including Lilly, Samsung and Honeywell already run AI workloads on Dell AI Factories, as the company pegs global AI infrastructure spending at $3 trillion-$4 trillion by 2030.
