Starting May 20, Sony will charge new PlayStation Plus customers $10.99 for one month and $27.99 for three months in select regions, up $1 and $3 respectively.
Sony attributed the increase to "ongoing market conditions," while leaving annual plans untouched for now and signaling that higher Extra and Premium pricing may also apply.
The change largely spares existing subscribers, with exceptions in Turkey and India, and covers prices including €9.99 and £7.99 for one-month plans.
The move follows Sony's 2023 annual-plan hike of as much as $40 and comes after broader gaming price pressure, including recent PS5 price increases and turbulence around Xbox Game Pass pricing.
