China's satellite navigation and positioning market is projected to top 1 trillion yuan ($147 billion) by 2030, with Beidou expected to deepen its role across public services and business sectors.
629 billion yuan in market value was recorded by the end of 2025, up 9.24% year on year, as Beidou became a standard feature in nearly all smartphones, electric vehicles and passenger cars made in China.
410 million navigation-capable terminals were sold in China in 2025, including about 280 million Beidou-enabled smartphones, lifting the mainland installed base to more than 2.2 billion compatible devices.
More than 140 countries and regions already use Beidou-related products and services, and Chinese firms have set up over 20 overseas service centers; in Belt and Road markets, Beidou's share reached 58% by end-2025.
