Six violent incidents unfolded across Philadelphia from late Friday to early Saturday, including three shootings, two commercial robberies and a stabbing, with most cases still unsolved.
Three people were shot on North Camac Street around 12:31 a.m.—a 24-year-old man was left in critical condition, while a 21-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were stable; the 21-year-old was later arrested on an unrelated warrant.
Other attacks left a 46-year-old South Philadelphia shooting victim, a 27-year-old man shot near Frankford and Girard, and a woman stabbed in Southwest Philadelphia; police arrested a 38-year-old man and recovered a weapon in the Frankford case.
Two Center City robberies followed around 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., with gunmen and larger groups forcing entry and stealing cash and phones; a 41-year-old woman suffered a facial cut and was treated and released.
Investigators recovered shell casings at multiple shooting scenes, but police said details remain preliminary and asked the public for tips as several detective units continue the probes.
