CNET Revives 2-Minute ISP Survey in May for People's Picks Ratings

CNET reopened its People's Picks survey for internet providers, asking users throughout May to submit ratings in a 2-minute questionnaire.
The outlet said speed tests and price comparisons capture only part of the picture, while peak-hour performance, reliability and customer service require firsthand user feedback.
Joe Supan, CNET's principal writer and broadband expert, said the goal is to learn what people actually value in providers they live with every day.
Responses from users in both cities and rural areas will be tallied after enough submissions arrive, with the top providers set to appear in a forthcoming roundup.
