Daniel Gibbins of Purcell's Norwich office visited Gresham's pupils for an interactive STEAM careers session linking classroom subjects to architecture, engineering and design roles.
Real-life project examples showed how maths, science, geography, history, art and IT feed into the design of buildings and public spaces.
Pupils also explored career paths ranging from architects and engineers to planners, graphic designers and project managers, widening the workshop beyond a single profession.
A bridge-building challenge using spaghetti and marshmallows closed the session, turning structural design and problem-solving into a hands-on team exercise.
Gresham's said the workshop helped pupils connect school learning with future career options and plans to welcome Purcell back in September for another design session.
