Seed Health Says DS-01 Eased Digestive Symptoms in 350-Adult Trial

A randomized, placebo-controlled study in 350 adults with bloating found Seed Health’s DS-01 improved bloating, gas, regularity and overall digestive comfort over several weeks.
Some participants reported benefits within the first week, and the company said the gains extended beyond symptoms to less food avoidance, greater meal enjoyment and more physical activity.
Seed tied the results to DS-01’s formulation — 24 strains, prebiotics and a capsule-in-capsule delivery system designed to help microbes survive the stomach and reach the colon.
The company used the findings to argue that probiotics should be judged on final-product clinical data, strain diversity, delivery and stability rather than broad category claims.
