Sunday’s edition marked the first regular shift for New York Times Cooking’s Five Weeknight Dishes, which will now arrive on Sunday mornings instead of Tuesdays.
The newsletter said the change is meant to help readers plan meals for the week ahead while keeping its core format of five easy recipes for busy cooks.
Melissa Clark’s flagship New York Times Cooking newsletter will still be sent on Sundays at 11 a.m., leaving both newsletters on the same day.
The note also promoted a new cookbook, Tanya Sichynsky’s “Veg Everything,” due in September with 100 vegetarian and vegan recipes from Times Cooking contributors.
