Two Police Scotland officers suffered serious injuries and 14 people were arrested after disorder erupted during Celtic fans' title celebrations in Glasgow's Trongate and at Celtic Park.
Around 3,000 supporters gathered after Celtic's 3-1 win over Hearts, and police said bottles and other missiles were thrown at officers, including those helping paramedics at a medical emergency.
Police made 10 arrests in the Trongate and four at the stadium, with more expected as CCTV is reviewed; riot police were deployed to disperse the crowd and damaged traffic lights were being repaired by Sunday.
Assistant Chief Constable Mark Sutherland said Celtic must work with authorities to prevent a repeat, after police had already criticized the club for failing to produce a safe celebration plan.
The disorder also extended to a pitch invasion at the end of the match, prompting inquiries into possible assaults, condemnation from Hearts and the SPFL, and fresh scrutiny of sanctions and anti-invasion measures.
