Half an hour with Android SDK Platform Tools let the user strip out Samsung, Microsoft and carrier apps that standard Settings would not fully remove, after a Galaxy Store auto-install feature kept adding unwanted apps.
Bixby Services, Galaxy Store, T-Mobile Mobile Services Manager, Samsung Free, AR Zone, Samsung TV Plus, Outlook, LinkedIn and Microsoft 365 were among the apps removed because they duplicated other services or ran background tasks.
Battery life improved to a full day, Bixby Services disappeared from battery rankings, mobile data use fell, and random app downloads stopped after Galaxy Store data was cleared and its auto-update and auto-install toggles were disabled.
OneDrive, Knox Security, Samsung Keyboard and Samsung Notes stayed because they are tied to core Samsung features such as Gallery backup, security, One UI behavior and S Pen support.
