Warwickshire offender Christopher Trezise was sentenced to 10 years and six months after being convicted of nine offences linked to online child sexual exploitation.
Specialist officers from the Online Child Sexual Exploitation Team uncovered evidence that he had potentially been distributing indecent images online, leading to charges including making and distributing indecent images, arranging child sex offences and sexual communication with a child.
A court also imposed a four-year extended licence period after deeming him a dangerous offender, along with a 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Trezise, from Rugby, was ordered to remain on the Sex Offenders' Register for life as police said they would keep targeting offenders who use the internet to exploit children.
