Four Democrats are competing to challenge first-term Republican Ryan Mackenzie in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley district after he flipped the seat in 2024 by just 1% and now polls underwater on favorability.
Bob Brooks and Ryan Crosswell have emerged as the main contenders, with Brooks boosted by endorsements from Gov. Josh Shapiro, the DCCC and labor groups, while Crosswell leans on his Justice Department anti-corruption record.
That contest has drawn unusual intervention from both parties: Democrats backed Brooks early, and a newly formed PAC, Lead Left, ran ads attacking Brooks and Crosswell while appearing to help Lamont McClure.
