Samsung’s rumored Fold 8 lineup would split on cameras: the Galaxy Z Fold 8 gets a 200-megapixel main sensor, while the Z Fold 8 Wide uses a 50-megapixel main camera aimed at everyday shooting.
Both models are said to share a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera—up from 12 megapixels on earlier versions—while selfie cameras remain at 10 megapixels, signaling Samsung’s biggest imaging upgrade is on wide-angle shots.
The hardware differences extend beyond cameras: the Fold 8 is tipped with an 8.0-inch inner display, 5,000 mAh battery and up to 1TB storage, while the Wide version is listed with a 7.6-inch inner screen, 4,800 mAh battery and up to 512GB.
Both foldables are rumored to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, carry IP48 protection and launch around July 22, 2026 at roughly $1,999, with the Wide potentially priced slightly lower.
