Mike Perry earned a second-round TKO over Nate Diaz at Intuit Dome after Diaz’s corner halted the fight between rounds with Diaz badly bloodied and unable to see.
A late knee to Diaz’s head capped Perry’s dominance, after he had already opened a severe cut with body shots, elbows and a ground-and-pound barrage.
Diaz, 41, said he had no issue with the stoppage because blood was in his eye, though he immediately backed a rematch after his first MMA bout since 2022.
The bout was part of Netflix’s inaugural MMA card headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano, and Perry quickly used the win to call out Jake Paul for an MMA fight.
