Nearly 50,000 fans filled Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff ArenA as Harry Styles opened his Together Together tour with a two-hour, 21-song set built around new tracks and hits including “Golden,” “Watermelon Sugar” and “As It Was.”
Three years after Love on Tour ended, Styles used the launch to promote his fourth solo album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.,” pairing its songs with an expansive stage of three floor-length ramps, bridges and giant video screens.
Styles framed the show around the tour’s Together Together message, urging fans to “be open to people” and repeatedly stopping for personal moments including singing “Happy Birthday” to a fan and acknowledging his mother and crew.
The Amsterdam opener starts a 50-date run across seven cities through December, including a 30-show stand at New York’s Madison Square Garden beginning in August.
