Overnight Ukrainian drone strikes at Yeysk airfield destroyed a rare Russian Be-200 amphibious aircraft and hit a Ka-27 helicopter, according to Unmanned Systems Forces commander Robert Brovdi.
Published footage appeared to show the Be-200 completely burned out; the extent of damage to the net-protected Ka-27 was not immediately clear.
The attack was carried out by operators from Ukraine’s 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, which Kyiv said also hit a Pantsir-S1 in Crimea and a cargo vessel carrying ammunition in Berdyansk.
Ukrainian officials separately reported strikes on a Tor-M2 system and on a Russian training center and troop deployment point in occupied Luhansk.
The Yeysk raid followed another coordinated Ukrainian drone attack on Kirovske airfield in Crimea, where Kyiv said it destroyed an An-72P transport aircraft and a P-37 radar.
