Las Vegas drivers face heavier traffic, intermittent restrictions and shifting patterns this week as Electric Daisy Carnival events draw crowds to the Motor Speedway and resort corridor.
Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., NDOT will close the southbound I-15 off-ramp to eastbound Sahara Avenue and the Sahara south bridge near Las Vegas Boulevard for the EDC World Parade.
Friday at 1 p.m. through Sunday at 10 a.m., northbound I-15 near Exits 52, 54 and 58 in Apex will see altered traffic patterns, with added impacts on Las Vegas Boulevard and Craig Road.
Delays are most likely from 2 p.m. to 6 a.m., and NDOT is urging motorists to allow extra time, consider alternate routes, use caution in work zones and check Waze for planned restrictions.
