Summary
$2.25 million will settle claims that Bank of America charged customers more than one out-of-network balance inquiry fee during a single visit to certain 7-Eleven ATMs.
The class covers accountholders charged at FCTI-owned 7-Eleven ATMs between May 1, 2018, and Nov. 16, 2021; the bank denied wrongdoing while resolving the case.
Payouts will be a proportional share of the net fund, with no estimate yet. Current accountholders do not need to file claims, but former accountholders must submit one by June 29, 2026.
Class members must opt out or object by July 7, 2026, and a final approval hearing is set for Aug. 21, 2026 in federal court in Southern California.
