Providence Immediate Care in Happy Valley was flagged as a measles exposure site for anyone there between 11:05 a.m. and 3:47 p.m. on May 12, Oregon and Clackamas County health officials said.
People who visited during that window were told to contact a health care provider, who can check immunity through vaccination records, age or lab evidence of prior infection.
Measles can linger in the air for up to 2 hours and infect up to 90% of unprotected close contacts; symptoms usually appear 7 to 21 days after exposure.
Officials said post-exposure treatment may still help — MMR vaccine within 72 hours or immunoglobulin within 6 days — and urged residents to verify vaccination status as U.S. cases keep rising.
