Melíosa O’Caoimh, Northern Trust’s Ireland head, took the top 2026 IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year honor at a Dublin ceremony attended by 1,300 business leaders.
22 years at Northern Trust underpinned the award, with judges highlighting her role in building the firm’s new Irish banking entity and her wider influence across Ireland’s financial sector.
Anne O’Leary, Meta Ireland’s head, received the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of a 30-year technology career spanning Meta, Vodafone and BT.
13 category winners were also recognized across fields including CEO, STEM, entrepreneurship, ESG and social enterprise, reflecting the awards’ broad focus on women shaping Irish business and society.
Now in its 18th year, the IMAGE PwC awards were held for the first time at the Royal Dublin Society, marking IMAGE’s 50th year and underscoring the event’s growing profile.
