More than 200 unionized maintenance workers at Hersheypark are deciding whether to authorize a strike days before the park shifts to daily operations on May 21.
The vote follows months of negotiations and the workers' rejection of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts' "last, best and final" contract offer.
The employees include ride mechanics, electricians, plumbers, welders and HVAC technicians whose work is central to ride safety, repairs and facility upkeep during the summer rush.
