Nakba 78 protests planned this weekend span an estimated 736 events in 39 countries, which Dalia Ziada says reflect a coordinated alliance of far-left activists and Islamist groups.
Fox News Digital said roughly 425 organizations sit within that network, ranging from communist groups to Muslim advocacy and anti-Israel coalitions with a combined annual revenue footprint near $1 billion.
Ziada said the alliance has sharpened since Hamas' Oct. 7 attack and the Gaza war, which she argued gave activists a "moral umbrella" for synchronized anti-Israel messaging such as apartheid and genocide claims.
Drawing on Iran's 1979 revolution, Ziada warned leftist factions can help Islamists gain legitimacy only to be discarded after power shifts, and said she fears similar dynamics could deepen in the United States.
