BMW unveiled the Vision K18, a new concept motorcycle built around the brand’s 1,800cc transverse-mounted inline-six engine from the K1600 cruiser.
The company pitched the bike as a fresh take on performance, luxury and dynamism, extending the bold design language it introduced with the R18 six years ago.
Unlike the R18’s 1,800cc flat-twin, the Vision K18 uses BMW’s smoother inline-six layout, signaling a different riding character as well as a new styling direction.
The concept makes its public debut this weekend at the Villa d’Este concours in Italy, a high-profile BMW-backed event often used to showcase halo designs.
