Ryan Nichols, 35, was arrested on May 10 in Harleton, Texas, after deputies said he displayed a handgun during an argument in a church parking lot, leading to a deadly-conduct charge.
Harrison County investigators said the other man tried to leave with his family before Nichols lifted his shirt, showed the gun and gripped it, prompting the victim to say he feared for his life.
Nichols was also booked on unrelated harassment warrants and released two days later on an $8,000 bond, according to county jail records.
Trump had pardoned Nichols in January 2025 after he had been sentenced to 5 years and 3 months for the Capitol attack, where he admitted pepper-spraying officers and threatening violence.
Crew says Nichols is at least the fifth Trump-pardoned Jan. 6 defendant accused of a new crime after clemency, part of a broader list of more than 30 pardoned rioters later facing other charges.
