$99 gets Amazon shoppers a Fitbit Air preorder plus a free silicone active band worth $35, cutting the package about 26% ahead of the tracker’s May 26 release.
The offer applies to Google’s newly unveiled screenless Fitbit Air, a 12-gram fitness band aimed at users who want basic metrics such as steps, sleep, recovery and stress.
Google plans to price the Fitbit Air at about $136 at launch, while an optional Google Health Premium subscription costs $100 a year for deeper recovery, strain and sleep insights.
The preorder promotion runs only through May 26, giving Amazon an early-sales push for Fitbit’s first screenless tracker before regular pricing begins.
