BMW Alpina Debuts 204.7-Inch Vision Coupe as First BMW Group-Era Model Nears 2027

BMW Alpina unveiled the Vision BMW Alpina at Villa d’Este, a one-off large luxury coupe previewing the brand’s first production car under BMW Group ownership.
The concept is 204.7 inches long, rides on 22-inch front and 23-inch rear wheels, and uses an undisclosed V8 to signal Alpina’s blend of performance and comfort.
Inside, the car looks close to production, with BMW’s Panoramic iDrive, a passenger screen and few physical buttons, suggesting the road model will share much of the cabin design.
BMW says the first official BMW Alpina model will be inspired by the 7 Series and arrive next year, extending a marque founded in 1965 that BMW fully brought in-house in early 2026.
