130 drones and one Kh-35 missile were shot down or neutralized by 9 a.m. Friday after Russia launched 141 drones and six missiles at Ukraine overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force said.
Five Kh-31P anti-radar missiles failed to reach their targets, but seven strike drones hit six locations and debris from downed targets was found at seven others.
Kyiv was the main target of the broader overnight assault; in the capital's Darnytskyi district, a strike destroyed 18 apartments in a prefabricated high-rise.
24 deaths have been confirmed in Kyiv, including three children, and 48 people were reported injured, while the air force said the attack was still ongoing with several UAVs remaining in Ukrainian airspace.
