Northampton County to Distribute $25 Produce Vouchers to Seniors Starting June 1

$25 vouchers for fresh, local produce will be available to eligible Northampton County seniors from June 1 through Sept. 15 on a first-come, first-served basis.
Residents must be 60 by Dec. 31, 2026, meet income caps of $29,526 for one person or $40,034 for a married couple, and show proof of age and residency.
Paper applications will not be accepted this year; the Area Agency on Aging will handle in-person distribution, and both spouses in an eligible household can receive vouchers.
Proxy pickup is allowed with a signed form and ID showing the senior's birth date and address, with one proxy limited to collecting for four participants.
Vouchers can be redeemed at participating farmers markets through Nov. 30 under Pennsylvania's Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
