Target and Smyths began taking pre-orders for JAKKS Pacific’s Chomping Wonder Bowser Jr. figure, with the broader Super Mario Galaxy Movie toy rollout due in late summer 2026.
The 8-inch interactive figure has 13 points of articulation, a shell-activated chomping motion, swappable paintbrush weapon tips and a water-reveal ink effect designed for repeat play.
JAKKS said the launch builds on strong Q1 sales for its movie tie-in line, where 5-inch figures, the Yoshi Egg Playset and 9-inch plush were top sellers.
Fall additions widen the lineup with Mario Riding Yoshi, premium Flying Mario and Cloud Luigi figures, a Wonder Bowser Jr. planet playset, mini figures, pull-back vehicles and 9-inch plush.
The expansion comes as The Super Mario Galaxy Movie ranks among 2026’s highest-grossing releases, reinforcing demand for collectible and interactive products.
