Christopher Thibodeau, 37, was arrested after Toronto police executed a search warrant Wednesday near Gerrard Street East and Main Street.
Police allege he communicated online with a person under 16 using the usernames “CT” and “Crimson,” prompting a child-luring investigation that began in early 2026.
The charges include sexual assault, luring a person under 16 and under 18, invitation to sexual touching, and making, possessing and accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
RCMP and the National Child Exploitation Crime Centre assisted the investigation, and Thibodeau was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
