More than 2,100 homes and businesses in Hendricks, Wayne, Allen and Delaware counties have been newly connected to Xfinity and Comcast Business high-speed internet after Comcast completed construction.
The buildout was funded through a multi-million-dollar Comcast investment paired with Indiana’s broadband grant program, aimed at reaching previously unserved residents and improving internet adoption statewide.
Comcast said the new areas now gain access to its residential and business offerings, including multi-gig internet, mobile, TV, home security and enterprise connectivity services.
Over the past three years, Comcast has invested more than $634 million in Indiana network upgrades and rural expansion, with recent connections also completed in Bartholomew, Carroll, Fayette, Hamilton, Johnson, Marshall and Morgan counties.
