January 2024 brought Lumen Ethernet On-Demand and Lumen IP-VPN On-Demand, two private-connectivity services aimed at enterprises handling regulated or confidential data.
The offerings keep encrypted traffic off the public internet, helping customers strengthen security, meet data-protection rules and adjust bandwidth up or down as needed.
Lumen said the services also connect with AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, extending private network access into major cloud environments for workloads such as financial transactions and health records.
The launch lands in an IP VPN web hosting market projected to reach $33.97 billion by 2030, growing at a 13.6% CAGR as cloud adoption, mobile applications and AI-driven threat detection expand demand.
