Coros’ May software update rolls out free to its smartwatches, adding six headline features led by voice control, AI data access and custom workout photo sharing.
3 newer models — Pace 4, Apex 4 and Nomad — get the full upgrade because some tools require the microphone and action button on Coros’ latest watches.
Voice control lets runners change treadmill speed and incline or switch track lanes mid-workout, while also handling timers, reminders, widgets and training starts outside exercise.
The update also adds an official MCP connection for ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro users, a weekly-mileage watch face, improved recurring distance alerts and more flexible strength-workout editing.
The release extends Coros’ push to keep recent watches competitive through frequent software upgrades rather than hardware changes alone.
