RoadReady Ohio lets learner drivers and supervisors log required practice time through paired accounts, replacing paper or phone-note tracking with an app-based record.
The supervisor’s phone records drive time and trip data, and the app scores each session on braking, acceleration, speed and turning while offering feedback and tips.
After drivers complete 50 hours, the app generates an affidavit report to be notarized and taken to the driving test.
The launch follows a 2025 law change requiring 50 practice hours for anyone under 21 and for applicants seeking a nonrenewable or nontransferable license, along with 24 hours of classwork and 8 hours with a licensed instructor.
