May 8’s Vietnam Game Awards honored PUBG Mobile with the Vietnam Esports Achievement Award, recognizing VNGGames’ long-running role in building the country’s esports scene.
At Vietnam GameVerse 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, the game’s booth drew heavy traffic over two days, with early queues, hands-on challenges and more than 10,000 gifts helping make it a focal point.
PUBG Mobile also anchored competition at the first SEA Esports Nations Cup, where 20 athletes played individual and team events and Vietnamese players Levis and Win took team gold.
That result helped Vietnam finish runner-up overall on 390 points, extending PUBG Mobile’s record of contributing medals after five won across SEA Games 31 and 32.
The award, tournament showing and fan turnout reinforced PUBG Mobile’s strong position in Vietnam’s youth gaming market and VNGGames’ push to expand national competition pathways.
