Cedric Alexander ended Leon Slater’s reign Thursday in Sacramento, winning the TNA X Division Championship for his first TNA title after Slater needed two falls to retain.
A 1-1 match turned when Alexander targeted Slater’s neck, sent him into the steel steps and finished him with repeated Lumbar Checks after Slater missed a swanton 450.
Fabian Aichner then emerged in the closing moments after the lights went out, confronting Alexander and signaling he could be next for the championship.
