Monday night on CNN, Ana Navarro shouted down Trump ally Caroline Sunshine after Sunshine rejected claims that Trump particularly targets women reporters.
The clash followed Trump’s abrupt end to a Sunday “Meet the Press” interview with Kristen Welker, which Navarro cited alongside his recent jab at CNN’s Kaitlan Collins for not smiling.
Sunshine argued Trump is an “equal opportunity offender” and said combative exchanges help both Trump and journalists, even claiming his poll numbers rise and urging 2 to 3 more such appearances a week.
Navarro called Trump’s insults toward women journalists shameful and said “the guy needs to grow up,” while the White House said his attacks reflect low public trust in media, not gender.
